The IN Crowd : Miroslava Duma

The fashion world is known for its cut-throat reputation and a pecking order of who deems what is in or out. Holding the fate of designers and models in their hands, are the select few seated at the front rows of top fashion shows, such as the likes of Vogue editor, Anna Wintour. Think Miranda Priestly in the movie, ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.
However, when it comes to fashion influence and inspiration, Miroslava Duma is the name on everyone’s lips. She is the former editor for Harper’s Bazaar Russia, and now works as freelance writer for titles like OK Magazine and Glamour. She is also the founder, editor and fashion consultant of the fashion news website Buro 24/7.
Miro, as she is affectionately called by friends, is part of a group of women known as the ‘Russian fashion pack.’ These young women are making waves in the industry and the group includes Ulyana Sergeenko, a former model now married to a Russian billionaire, fashion designer Vika Gazinskaya who is known for her ever-changing geometric hairstyles and Elena Perminova who is a model and girlfriend to billionaire newspaper owner Alexander Lebedev.
‘It girl’ Duma stands out boldly in this group of fashionistas. She dominates street style blogs and inspires photographers with her style and attention to detail when it comes to wearing top brands in her own way. With her petite stature and natural flair for putting together outfits, she has shifted the stereotypes of Russian style being tight and bright, and is leading the pack in being a style icon. Her eye-catching ensembles and seamless ability to go from heels to Timberlands are some of the few things millions around the world love about her. With an Instagram following of 561,828 and 43,600 followers on Twitter, it proves just how popular and loved she is.
We just love her look, do you? Let us know in the comment section below.
